Thai Yoga Massage

A delicious dance of stretch, pressure & flow

I loved my Thai Yoga Massage session with Beverley.  It felt like dancing together.” Gayatri Claire Beegan

Loving dance, yoga and tantra as much as I do, it’s no wonder I love giving Thai Yoga Massage too!!

Combining rhythmic acupressure along energy lines (meridians) and a flowing sequence of yoga-based stretches, the moment-by-moment interplay between my awareness and your body’s responses are truly like an intimate dance.

Using hands, thumbs, feet and elbows, I press into points along your limbs, and also use my body weight to vary pressure and deepen passive stretches (which means you get all the benefits of a stretch without having to “do” anything).

You receive your treatment fully clothed (please wear loose comfortable clothing eg. jogging pants & t-shirt & socks) and lying on a futon on the floor.

A complete Thai Yoga Massage treatment takes 1.5-2 hours.  The time passes incredibly quickly, as it is a moving meditative experience.

Benefits

Based on the ancient healing sciences of Tui Na, Ayurveda and Shiatsu, Thai Yoga Massage aims to restore balance to the body-mind-spirit by supporting the flow of energy along 10 key sen lines (energy channels) in the body.

Each of these meridians is associated with specific organs and physical, emotional and psychic aspects of well-being.

Originally practised by monks and nuns, it has a deep spiritual component and the practitioner is expected to bring mindfulness and loving kindness to each treatment.

Some of the benefits you can expect from a Thai Yoga Massage experience are:

  • deep relaxation & stress release
  • increased energy
  • improved circulation and skin tone
  • enhanced flexibility
  • relief of muscle fatigue & stiff joints
  • improved digestion & detoxification
  • lower blood pressure
  • deeper sleep

By paying attention to particular sen lines or pressure points, we can also address a whole range of more specific ailments such as headache, indigestion, knee pain, depression and so on.

What do your clients say?

OK, it’s official: Beverley Drumm has got amazing, healing hands! They feel more like vibration than hands…And what a great presence and intuition… Recommend any and all kinds of intuitive/energy healing from her. :-)” Elena Konstantinou

Beverley was leading my body gently but deeply into different movements and postures. Stroking and stretching the tensions and ‘holding’ places in my body. Beverley has the unique combination of being strong and powerful yet sensitive and loving in her massage. This is an unmissable wellbeing experience!” Gayatri Claire Beegan
